Imperfect, Imbecilic, Incompetent, Idyllic

Paul Roland - Happy Families (1988)

Bucking against the current, the intrepid white explorer trudged upstream, dead crystal crocodiles colliding every mis-step of the way, but he knew - knew! - that the lost sugar city of the ant people lay just beyond the next bend. In the pouring hot tropical rain, it was the only crutch he had.

Hi!
Just want to say thanks for great blog! I downloaded both Paul Roland albums. I haven't heard him in years. He seems to be sadly forgotten these days. Danse Macabre is the best of the two I think but Happy Families is still very good. I also downloaded the Black Sun Ensemble LPs. They were another great group!
It's good to find your site as your shares are interesting and you obviously have great taste! I will be checking often for more great music.
Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed the music. I have a Roland LP (Burnt Orchids) that I'll be getting up someday, whenever I rip it. Lots of people have gotten Danse Macabre. Feel free to tell other people!
