What You Do When There Is Nothing You Can Do

Velvet Monkeys - Rotting Corpse au Go-Go (1989)

The spacelords blew into the system in fancy-ass transwarp multigeneration leather bucket seat and airconditioned starships, mucking up and down and all around in every possible dimension, space-Euro-trash in knockoff Gucci life-support belts, showing off their fancy power steering and blasting their bass-heavy technomusic (all bad Kraftwerk disco imitation crap) on every channel until finally we'd just had enough. (The last straw was when they pulled up to Mars and ordered ten-thousand cappucinos then left without paying!) We pulled out the planets, ran in the asteroid belt, put out the sun and left. It was easier than living with them.

WOW! a real shimmy disc delight :) this is definitely one of the best blogs around. THANKS!
is there any chance of getting a tracklist for this album? the tracks don't have numbers...

Sorry, I've never added the track numbers to my rips, primarily for aesthetic reasons (yeah, it's silly, but...). The info is there, though, and most media players should be able to order them properly if arranged by "album" or "track order" or whatever command is used. WMP uses by "album" I know. I'll see if I can find a tracklist, too.

Like your user name, don! I'm gonna put up a Gumball EP shortly if you're a Flemingfan. I love his voice, myself. Wish I could sing like that.
